About Me
I'm an Assistant Professor with a joint position at the Institute of Data Science (IDS) and the Law & Tech Lab of Maastricht University. The major objective of my research is to develop and evaluate novel and state-of-the-art natural language processing (NLP) technologies that address the challenges in the field of HR Analytics and Computational Law. I am the local Principal Investigator from Maastricht University for the FACILEX project funded by the European Commission.
Before joining Maastricht University, I worked as an Artificial Intelligence (AI) specialist at the Data Appeal Company in Florence, Italy. I earned a Joint International Ph.D. in Law, Science and Technology and a Ph.D. in Informatics from the consortium of the University of Luxembourg and the University of Bologna in March 2019. I have been a two-time recipient of the prestigious Erasmus Mundus Fellowship awarded by the European Commission for both Master's and Ph.D.
